ZenWTR is the pantheon of sustainability and the world's first and only beverage in a bottle made from 100% recycled, certified, Ocean-Bound plastic, delivering crisp, clean vapor-distilled alkaline hydration while actively helping to prevent ocean pollution.
 
Ocean-Bound plastic is plastic found in proximity to the ocean in coastal environments in regions that lack formal and effective re- cycling infrastructure. These countries generally don’t have the means to recycle plastic and therefore there is no value or incentive to dispose of it properly, so it becomes mismanaged waste and pollution.
 
Our ZenWTR supply partners travel to these regions and establish recycling centers, infrastructure and bottle deposit programs that educate and mobilize the local communities to go out and collect Ocean-Bound bottles in exchange for meaningful income. It’s a virtual cycle that effectively helps grow recycling rates, clean coastal environments, and create new incomes for recycling communities. We currently source from Indonesia, Thailand and Ecuador.
 
Every ZenWTR flagship bottle is made from 100% recycled plastic sourced from these plastic bottles that were prevented from reaching and polluting the ocean. And for every Alumi-Tek bottle we make, we support programs that rescue and recycle the equivalent of 5 Ocean-Bound bottles.
 
But that’s just one part of our Sustainable Story. ZenWTR is also the world's first beverage to receive a Plastic Negative Certification and through a partnership with the Plastic Credit Exchange we support programs that are recovering and recycling 2 times our annual plastic footprint. And in addition, we donate 1% of all ZenWTR revenues to Ocean conservation and recycling education, advancement and access in the US. No other bottled water brands are doing this.
