ZenWTR Launches 100% Ocean-Bound Plastic Bottle
ZenWTR founder Lance Collins sat down with Forbes contributor Afdhel Aziz for a wide-ranging interview with topics including why and how he's building this mission-based brand and goes in-depth on our sustainability practices.
ZenWTR is a disruptive new bottled water brand that attempts to do something positive for the environment. Founded by veteran beverage entrepreneur Lance Collins, ZenWTR uses ultra-purified, vapor-distilled alkaline (9.5pH) water in a 100% post-consumer recycled bottle, made from certified, ocean-bound plastic and is now available at all Whole Foods Market stores in the U.S.
According to them, ZenWTR is on track to rescue up to 70 Million plastic water bottles from the ocean in 2020. ZenWTR also plans to reinvest 1% of all sales in cleaning up marine environments through a network of trusted charity partners and organizations. Interested non-profits should reach out to ZenWTR to find out more about potential collaborations.
